Which crypto casinos accept Canadian dollars and Interac?

Home » Canada » Which crypto casinos accept Canadian dollars and Interac?

Nine of the sixteen crypto casinos we review accept Canadian dollars. Five are crypto-only and will not take CAD at all. Two we could not settle. Interac support tracks CAD support closely, but not perfectly, and we say below exactly where our evidence runs out.

We checked this against each operator’s own terms and conditions and cashier pages in September 2026, not against third-party lists. That matters: when we compared our results with the published lists, roughly a third of their entries were wrong. One widely-cited list still says Spinanga blocks Canadian players. It does not. We explain that specific error in why some NetEnt games will not load in Canada.

The table

Checked September 2026. “Own terms” means we found it in the operator’s terms and conditions. “Cashier” means we confirmed it from the operator’s own deposit or payments page.

Ontario players: none of these are available to you, including the ones marked “not mentioned”. That is our own policy and the reason is set out in can you use a crypto casino in Ontario? Alberta players, the same applies since 13 July 2026, and we explain why in crypto gambling in Alberta.

Why Interac tends to follow CAD

This was the clearest pattern in our checks. Where an operator supports Canadian dollars, it usually supports Interac too. Where it is crypto-only, Interac is absent.

The reason is structural rather than a coincidence. Interac is a Canadian bank-to-bank network, so to offer it an operator needs a Canadian banking relationship through a payment processor. An operator that has gone to the trouble of setting up CAD balances has usually set up that relationship as part of the same work. An operator that holds only crypto has no Canadian banking rail to plug Interac into.

Seven of the sixteen showed an Interac option in the cashier: Bulletz, and the six Stellar Ltd brands — Casinia, Rabona, Librabet, Buran, Spinanga and Spinit. The five crypto-only brands showed none.

The pattern is useful, but do not treat it as a rule. Payment availability changes without notice, it sometimes varies by province, and processors drop operators at short notice. Check the cashier before you deposit.

The five crypto-only casinos, and what that means in practice

Vave, HugeWin, Cloudbet, Betcoin and CryptoWins accept Canadian players but hold no Canadian dollars. In practice:

  • You need to buy crypto somewhere else first. Usually a Canadian exchange, which means an account, identity verification and a transfer before you can deposit a cent.
  • Your balance moves with the market. A balance held in Bitcoin can lose value while you are not playing. That is a real cost and it is easy to overlook.
  • You convert twice. CAD to crypto going in, crypto to CAD coming out, with a spread each way on top of any network fee.
  • Withdrawals come back as crypto. Getting to spendable Canadian dollars means another exchange step.

If you want to deposit in Canadian dollars by Interac and keep your balance in dollars, these five are the wrong casinos. That is worth saying plainly because our own Canada page has in the past featured Vave and HugeWin prominently, and for a reader who wants CAD they are among the least suitable options we list.

What we could not verify

We would rather leave a gap visible than fill it with a guess.

  • Interac at Stake and BitStarz. Both support Canadian dollars. Stake’s help centre confirms that Canadian-dollar withdrawals are paid by Interac e-Transfer, through a payments company called Payper, after ID checks and within three business days. For BitStarz we did not establish from its own material whether Interac specifically is offered to Canadian players, so we have not claimed it either way.
  • Boomerang. We review it, but it was not covered by our September currency and payment checks. We have no verified CAD or Interac position for it.
  • Slotland and Duelbits. Sources conflict and we could not settle either from the operator’s own material.
  • Withdrawal limits and payout times. Not covered by these checks. The figures circulating for most of these casinos contradict each other and very few trace back to the operator. We are working through the terms brand by brand and will publish when we have read them, not before.

A note on Stake and Canadian dollars

Stake supports Canadian dollars, but there is a wrinkle worth knowing about. Stake has a separate Canadian site at stake.ca, and as of 9 October 2026 it is still not open. Stake Canada was licensed in Alberta on 6 October 2026 and has said it plans to launch there on 12 October, according to trade press; we will update this page once it is live. Its own home page says “Stake is coming to Alberta & Ontario in Canada!” and “Stake is launching in Ontario and Alberta in 2026”.

So for now, Canadians outside Ontario and Alberta use the international site, which is crypto-first. We go into the detail, including an error in Stake’s own licensing FAQ, in our Stake review.

How we checked

We read each operator’s terms and conditions and its cashier or payments pages directly, and recorded which document each finding came from. Where the operator’s own material was silent, we looked at its help centre. Where that was silent too, we recorded the question as unsettled rather than falling back on another review site.

We took that approach because the third-party lists are unreliable. When we compared sixteen brands against their own terms, roughly a third of the published entries we checked were wrong, and the errors were not random. The most common one comes from searching an operator’s terms for “Canada”, finding it, and concluding that Canadians are blocked. Often the mention is in a clause about a game supplier, which hides certain games from Canadian players while leaving the account perfectly valid. That is a different thing, and it is explained in why some NetEnt games will not load in Canada.

Questions

Which crypto casinos accept Interac?

Of the sixteen we review, seven showed an Interac option in the cashier when we checked in September 2026: Bulletz, Casinia, Rabona, Librabet, Buran, Spinanga and Spinit. Stake pays Canadian-dollar withdrawals by Interac e-Transfer, per its help centre. We did not establish Interac support either way for BitStarz, and the five crypto-only casinos do not offer it.

Can I deposit Canadian dollars at a crypto casino?

At nine of the sixteen we review, yes: Stake, BitStarz, Bulletz, Spinanga, Buran, Casinia, Rabona, Librabet and Spinit. Five are crypto-only, so you would need to buy crypto elsewhere first.

Do any crypto casinos work in Ontario or Alberta?

No. We do not show casinos to visitors in either province. No crypto casino can be licensed in Ontario or Alberta, because both frameworks require balances in Canadian dollars and state that cryptocurrency is not legal tender and must not be accepted.

Is Interac faster than crypto for withdrawals?

Usually not. Crypto withdrawals typically clear faster once an account is verified, while Interac and bank transfers tend to take a few business days. We have not measured payout times for these specific casinos and will not quote figures until we have.
