The Spinit name used to belong to a Malta-licensed casino run by Genesis Global. That business collapsed at the end of 2022, and Malta’s regulator later cancelled its licence. Today’s spinit.com is a different operation. It runs on the same template and the same terms as five sister casinos, accepts Canadian dollars and shows Interac. If you remember the old Spinit, none of its Malta protections apply to this one.
Our verdict
Spinit suits a Canadian outside Ontario and Alberta who wants a casino and sportsbook in CAD, deposits by Interac or card, and plays modest stakes. It suits crypto players least of the six sister sites. We found no crypto method shown on Spinit’s footer, promotions or About page, and there is no crypto bonus.
The biggest catch is trust. The brand’s history invites people to assume a level of regulation the current site does not show. The current site names no licence and no company, and the welcome bonus caps what you can release at CAD 150.
Spinit uses the same terms (v1.12, 19 August 2026) as Spinanga, Casinia, Rabona, Librabet and Buran. The payout caps and licence position are shared.

Score bands: how we rate.
The old Spinit and the new one
Spinit was one of roughly two dozen sites run by Genesis Global under a Malta Gaming Authority licence. Genesis laid off its staff and entered insolvency in December 2022. The MGA suspended it in January 2023 and cancelled the licence in January 2024, ordering it to settle outstanding player withdrawals. Trade press covered this at the time, and we cite it in our sources.
The spinit.com of 2026 has nothing visible in common with that business apart from the name. Its terms are the same document, in the same version and with the same clause numbers, as Spinanga’s and Casinia’s. Its footer links to 7StarPartners, the affiliate programme for the whole group. Its privacy notice and terms do not mention Malta or the MGA. We found no evidence that old Spinit accounts or balances carried over. Treat it as a new casino with a familiar name. If you had money stuck at the old Spinit, the new site’s terms give you no claim against it.
Getting your money out

- Processing (6.15): within three business days of the request, or of the last paid withdrawal. The finance team works 6am to 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday. At most three withdrawals can be pending, and you can cancel one while it waits.
- Un-wagered deposits (6.8): bet each deposit at least once. If you do not, winnings can be cancelled and 10% of the deposit kept (15% for card or bank transfer). A month with under €20 wagered can also block a withdrawal (6.7).
- Verification (section 5): requested at Spinit’s discretion, before or after deposits and withdrawals. You have 30 days to supply documents, and review usually takes up to 10 days.
- Minimum withdrawal: not fixed in the terms, and not visible to us.
- Sports winnings cap: €100,000 a day (16.9.4).
- Inactivity: €5 a month after 180 days without login.

Spinit’s own page leaves it unclear whether term 17’s €50/€100 cap covers the whole bonus or only the free-spin winnings. Its wording (“released from the bonus into the Real balance”) reads as the whole bonus, and it sits beside a term 16 that promises 10x. Assume CAD 150 is the most you can take out of this offer.
The sportsbook first-deposit bonus is 100% up to €100. Recurring offers include weekly reloads (50 free spins on casino, 50% up to €500 on sport), a weekend reload of €700 plus 50 spins, a 15% daily cashback up to €400 and a 25% live cashback up to €200. Spinit’s promotions page lists no crypto offers.
Banking
- CAD: yes. It is in the withdrawal table, which lists 12 currencies, the fewest in the group: EUR, USD, CAD, NZD, AUD, NOK, HUF, PLN, CZK, CLP, PEN and CHF.
- Interac: the Interac e-Transfer logo is in the footer, next to Visa and Mastercard. Limits and times are unverified.
- Crypto: we could not confirm it. Spinit’s footer shows only Visa, Mastercard and Interac. Its promotions page has no crypto offers, and its terms do not mention crypto deposits. The sister sites with crypto bonuses take USDT, BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH, XRP and USDC, but we found nothing showing that Spinit does. Check the cashier before you count on it.
- Bonus exclusions: Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify for the welcome bonus.
Games
The provider page listed 129 studios with about 13,750 games. The largest are Spinomenal (814), Playtech (686), Pragmatic Play (676), Foxi (539) and Yggdrasil (514), with Hacksaw, Amusnet and VoltEnt close behind. Live tables come from Pragmatic Live (249) and Ezugi (81), among others. Spinit’s About page still says “over 4,000 casino games”, which is out of date. The version of the list we saw had no NetEnt, Evolution or Play’n GO, and the list changes with location.
In Canada, NetEnt (15.2), Planet of the Apes (15.3), Vikings (15.4) and Street Fighter (15.6) are hidden, and the Universal Monsters slots are limited to listed countries (15.7). That limits games, not accounts. See why some NetEnt games will not load in Canada.
Licence and ownership
Spinit’s footer names “Spinit.com” and nothing else. There is no company, licence or regulator on the home page, About page, terms or privacy notice. Third parties attribute the relaunched brand to Stellar Ltd and its Anjouan licence ALSI-202411077-FI2. The Anjouan register lists that licence as valid until 21 November 2026, but spinit.com is not among the 18 domains attached to it.
For disputes, the terms send you to support, then complaints@spinit.com, with an outcome within 10 days, then to AskGamblers, a private website with no enforcement power. The old Spinit had a Malta regulator behind it. The new one shows nothing comparable.
Playing from Canada
Canada is not on Spinit’s excluded list. You can register, play in CAD and withdraw under the limits above.
- Ontario: we exclude it. It is a regulated iGaming Ontario market, and AGCO Standard 5.69 means no crypto casino can be registered there. Spinit’s terms do not name Ontario, but offshore operators often run IP blocks that their terms never mention, and silence is not permission. ConnexOntario: 1-866-531-2600.
- Alberta: we exclude it. The regulated market opened on 13 July 2026 under the AGLC and Play Alberta, with no crypto, and the grey-market outer limit is 13 October 2026. Alberta Problem Gambling Helpline: 1-866-332-2322.
Other countries
Spinit has the strictest excluded list in the group, at 27 entries. It adds Belgium and China to the common list: Afghanistan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Curaçao, Côte d’Ivoire, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, North Korea, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, the UK and the US. New Zealand is accepted, in NZD, but it prohibits unlicensed offshore operators from 1 December 2026. Despite the brand’s European history, Spinit holds no UK Gambling Commission licence and is outside GAMSTOP.
Questions people ask
Is Spinit the same casino as before?
No. The original Spinit was run by Genesis Global under a Malta licence that was cancelled in January 2024. Today’s site runs on a different group’s terms, with no Malta licence and no visible link to the old company.
Is Spinit legal in Canada?
Spinit accepts Canadians and does not exclude Canada. It is not licensed in any province. We do not recommend it in Ontario or Alberta.
Does Spinit accept Interac?
The Interac e-Transfer logo is displayed, and CAD is supported. We could not verify limits or processing times.
Does Spinit accept crypto?
We could not confirm it. Unlike its sister sites, Spinit shows no crypto logos and runs no crypto bonus.
